Description:
A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team. You will be working on a large commercial project, carrying out new installations of passive fire protection. The works will be based in Washington, just outside of Sunderland UK. Most works will be steel penetrations and all batt and mastic selas. The works will last until around December 2025. Please note IPAF is required for this role.
4 - 5 Seals Expected per day
The successful candidate will have:
IPAF
At least three years’ fire stopping experience
NVQ level 2 passive fire protection
Valid CSCS card
Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound
Fire curtain experience preferred
Experience working using tracing apps to record works completed
Knowledge of 3rd party accreditation
Asbestos Awareness certificate
Roles and responsibilities
Passive Fire Protection Installs
Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification
Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
