FIRE & SECURITY SERVICE & INSTALLATION MANAGER NEEDED FOR FIRE ALARM, INTRUDER DETECTION AND COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY
Job Title:
Fire & Security Service & Installation Manager – Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV
Location:
Thatcham and surrounding areas, including Newbury, Reading, Basingstoke, and Didcot
Package:
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000
Additional £1.2k if part of the call out rota
Van, equipment, phone, laptop

Role:
Fire & Security Service & Installation Manager – Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV
Overseeing the service and installation of fire and security systems.
Managing and supporting a team of engineers.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Providing high levels of technical guidance and knowledge on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems.
Developing relationships and supporting existing clients.
Experience:
Fire & Security Service & Installation Manager – Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV
This role requires significant experience in the fire and security from an engineering or management position.
Proven experience in managing fire OR security systems service and installation would be highly beneficial.
Strong understanding of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems is essential.
Relevant electrical or fire alarm qualifications (e.g., FIA, British Consortium) would be beneficial.
Professional communication style and leadership abilities are preferable.
Familiarity with systems such as Honeywell, Galaxy, C-TEC, Sentry, Ziton, Advanced, Paxton, or Hikvision would be beneficial but is not essential.
Valid UK driving license is required.
Residency in Thatcham or nearby area such as Newbury, Reading, Basingstoke, and Didcot is required.
SSSTS (Site Supervisors' Safety Training Scheme) or similar supervisory qualification would also be advantageous to your application.

Candidates with a background as a Fire & Security Manager, Service Manager, Security Manager, Fire Alarm Supervisor, Alarm Service Manager, Access Control Manager, Maintenance Manager, Technical Manager, Systems Manager, Facilities Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, Electrical Supervisor, Fire & Security Engineer, Service Engineer, Fire Alarm Engineer, Intruder Alarm Engineer, Security Engineer, Fire Alarm Technician, Alarm Engineer, or Maintenance Electrician will find their experience highly relevant to this position.
Previous Industries:
Experience in Fire & Security Solutions, Fire Alarms, Security Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Electronics, Engineering, Video Surveillance, CCTV, Servicing and Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Building Services, Electrical Contracting, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Integrated Security Solutions, Health and Safety, or Commercial Property Maintenance will be particularly beneficial
