JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a new opportunity for a Fire Safety Project Delivery Manager to join the Guinness team on a fixed term contract, initially for a 6-month period.

As a Fire Safety Project Delivery Manager, you will lead the delivery of large-scale and complex fire and building safety programmes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, on time and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the delivery of fire and building safety programmes, including FRA remediation, statutory fire safety works, and wider building safety interventions.

Acting as the senior technical and delivery lead on complex fire and building safety projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality outcomes.

Managing project budgets, contracts, and programme delivery to ensure compliance with fire, building safety, and construction legislation.

What we are looking for

We know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. In addition to bringing extensive project and programme delivery experience, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to make independent decisions within your area of responsibility.

You will be able to demonstrate:

Senior project and programme delivery expertise, with the ability to lead large-scale, complex fire and building safety projects from mobilisation through to completion.

Strong commercial and financial management skills, including control of budgets, variations, risk, and contractual performance.

Proven leadership capability, including line management, performance management, and the ability to promote a strong safety and compliance culture.

Essential Qualifications:

Level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent or above) in one or more of the following disciplines: Building, Construction, Surveying, Fire Safety, or a closely related built-environment discipline.

To find out more about the key responsibilities of the role and to ensure you meet the essential criteria, please review the role profile.

Please apply with a current CV and covering letter, detailing how you meet the essential criteria.

Please note, applicants that are based in our London office will receive a Local Job Supplement in addition to the annual salary.
