An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and forward-thinking Fire Safety Manager to lead and develop fire safety strategy across a large, complex, high-profile commercial estate. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers, employees, contractors, and visitors while driving a proactive fire safety culture throughout the organisation. You will have the opportunity to shape strategic fire safety initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and lead a dedicated team in a prestigious and fast-paced environment.
The Fire Safety Manager will be responsible for:
Leading and developing the Fire Safety Team
Managing fire safety compliance across a large and diverse estate
Overseeing fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, and compliance programmes
Investigating fire-related incidents and implementing corrective actions
Providing expert fire safety advice and guidance to operational, project, and event teams
Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external authorities
You will be an experienced fire safety professional with a strong track record of operating within large, complex environments. You will possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, coupled with a passion for continuously improving safety standards.
The successful candidate will have:
Degree or diploma qualification in Fire Safety Management, Fire Engineering, or a related discipline
Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) or equivalent professional body
Strong knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, BS 9999, and Approved Document B
Experience leading and developing teams
Proven experience managing fire risk assessments and fire safety audits
The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
