Fire Safety Engineer - Nuclear/Chemicals/Defence - Warrington (hybrid and remote working available) - £40-50k
My client is an established consultancy, offering a variety of Risk Engineering services to clients across Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Defence, and other highly regulated sectors. They're looking for a Fire Safety Engineer to join their, 50 strong, team consisting of a mix of experienced individuals.
If you're passionate about Fire Safety Engineering and keen to work on a variety of projects acorss numerous sectors, this could be the company for you. They offer great support to all of their consultants and really work as a team to create a strong learning enviornment, where they can bring out the best in each consultant.
You will deliver technical fire engineering and safety projects in a range of high risk industries, to include;
* Conventional fire engineering assessments/ fire safety strategies
* High hazard fire scenario analysis
* Delivering fire safety strategies in a wide range of other sectors, including industrial, residential and other commercial areas.
* Facilitating fire hazard study workshops
* Performing fire modelling and/or interpreting results
* Evaluating prevention and protective measures necessary to limit the likelihood and consequences of fire
* Technically understanding the design, installation, maintenance requirements for fire detection, suppression and control philosophies
* Mentoring and developing more junior staff members
