Job Title: Fire Risk Assessor
Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: £30,000–£45,000 + company van
Are you a Fire Risk Assessor based in London & the Home Counties looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting fire risk assessments across a range of commercial properties, providing expert guidance to clients and producing clear, actionable reports that improve fire safety and ensure compliance with current legislation. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire safety solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough fire risk assessments across commercial properties, identifying hazards and evaluating risks in line with current UK legislation.
* Produce detailed fire risk assessment reports and action plans with practical recommendations to reduce risk and improve compliance.
* Advise clients on fire safety legislation, best practice and appropriate remedial measures.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure all assessments are completed to a consistently high standard.
* Travel across London, the Home Counties and, where required, other locations across the UK, with overnight stays as needed.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in fire risk assessment or fire safety consultancy.
* Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
* Excellent report-writing and communication skills, with a professional and confident approach when advising clients.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and stay away overnight when required.
* NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent recognised fire safety qualification (desirable).
* IFSM or IFE membership, accreditation, or recognition on a fire risk assessment competency scheme (desirable).
