Job Title: Fire Door Surveyor / Inspector
Location: Midlands / South (will involve travel)
Daily Rate: Competitive + Travel

Duration: 6-8 Weeks

This leading passive fire protection specialist, supplying a comprehensive range of third-party accredited survey, installation and compliance services to public and private sector organisations across the country is looking to recruit a team of Fire Door Surveyors for a newly awarded nationwide Contract.

You will be part of a team carrying out Fire Door surveys within the Education sector so a DBS is required.

Responsibilities:

Complete visual inspections and surveys on fire doors to ensure they are up to compliance standards
Produce reports and offer advice and recommendations to clients
Have a good understanding of Timber Fire Doors, door surrounds and similar furniture
Be able to identify that the frame specification is correct for the door's rating
Be able to ensure that the choice of Frame/lining/casing and intumescent smoke seals are compatible
Have good working knowledge of current Health & Safety and other relevant legislationExperience / Qualifications

Fire Door Experience (Installation, Supervising, Surveying)
Recognised Fire Door Related Qualification
DBS
Full UK driving license
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
IT literate, able to use microsoft suite and Tablet/PDA's
