Role: Fire Door & Fire Stopping Project Manager

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + package

About the Role

An established construction contractor is looking to appoint a Fire Door & Fire Stopping Contract Manager to join its growing passive fire protection division.

The business delivers fire door, fire stopping and compartmentation projects across commercial, education, healthcare and public sector environments, working on both refurbishment and live occupied buildings. With a strong reputation for quality, compliance and repeat business, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company investing heavily in the growth of its passive fire offering.

The Role

You'll take ownership of fire door and fire stopping projects from initial survey through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required compliance standards.

Working closely with clients, site teams and subcontractors, you'll oversee planning, quality, documentation and commercial performance across multiple live projects while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple fire door and fire stopping projects from start to finish.
Plan programmes, coordinate labour and subcontractors, and oversee site delivery.
Carry out surveys, review specifications and ensure works comply with current fire safety regulations.
Produce and review RAMS, quality documentation and installation records.
Monitor project costs, variations, budgets and programme performance.
Liaise with clients, consultants and building managers throughout delivery.
Support audits, compliance requirements and continuous improvement across the business.

What We're Looking For

Experience delivering passive fire protection projects, ideally covering both fire doors and fire stopping.
Good understanding of current fire safety legislation and third-party certification requirements.
Strong contract management and client-facing skills.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets, variations and programme management.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
Full UK driving licence.

The Opportunity

This is a chance to join a financially stable contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work and genuine plans for growth within its passive fire division. You'll be given autonomy to manage your own projects, work with an experienced leadership team and play a key role in the continued expansion of the business
