We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter to carry out installations within a hospital. Skilled in ensuring fire doors comply with current fire safety standards and regulations through detailed inspections, adjustments and repairs.
Duties Included:
Installing and fitting fire doors in line with current fire safety regulations
Installing door sets, frames, ironmongery, intumescent strips, and smoke seals
Ensuring correct clearances, operation, and compliance of all installed fire doors
Carrying out quality inspections and rectifying installation defects
Working within occupied properties while maintaining a safe and professional environment
Completing compliance paperwork and installation records accurately
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
