Job Title: Fire Damper / Ventilation Engineer

Location: Coventry, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £38k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for an experienced and hardworking Fire Damper Engineer in the Midlands region. Our client is a privately owned outfit, with imminent expansion plans and a diverse client portfolio. They are seeking someone with a good track record in the industry, and good hands-on experience of Fire Damper logging, testing and remedial repairs. Our client has a presence across the UK, therefore you will need to be adaptable to travel in line with company needs. Experience / Qualifications:

* Good track record working as a Fire Damper Engineer

* Ideally will hold the NVQ Level 5 in Fire and Smoke Dampers

* Robust technical knowledge, including BS9999 guidelines

* Will hold the BESA ticket

* Flexible to travel in line with company needs

* Able to work independently on site

* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

* Performing logging and testing of Fire Dampers

* Carrying out remedial works on Fire Dampers, including: TEK screw removals, collars and link swaps

* Installing and commissioning Fire Dampers

* Surveying ventilation systems for required works

* AHU cleans

* Identifying any system faults and making appropriate recommendations for works

* Auditing on completed works

* Producing regular service reports

* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
