Description:

MPC Resourcing require a Fire and Secruity engineer for a reputable multi trades company who have specialties in maintenance and providing the best service possible.

As a Fire and Security Engineer at , it is imperative that you ensure the safe and efficient execution of all assigned tasks and responsibilities for both the company and its clients. Your expertise will primarily focus on installing and troubleshooting fire and security systems in both residential and commercial settings.

Duties for the job:

* Installation Excellence: Execute all installations of fire and security systems with precision and adherence to industry standards, ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties.

* · Service and Maintenance: Provide proactive and timely servicing and maintenance of installed systems, troubleshooting issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain optimal functionality.

* · Mentorship and Oversight: Take an active role in mentoring apprentices, sharing knowledge and expertise to facilitate their growth within the company. Additionally, provide oversight to subcontractors during installations to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

* · Customer Satisfaction: Uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction by delivering professional service at all times, responding promptly to client inquiries and concerns, and maintaining open communication throughout projects.

* · Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including company policies, health and safety legislation, and industry guidelines. Maintain accurate records of all installations, servicing, and maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures.

* · Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and advancements in fire and security technology through ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Apply new knowledge and skills to enhance the quality and efficiency of your work.

* · Safety and Security: Prioritize the safety and security of yourself, your colleagues, and our clients by adhering to established safety protocols and participating in the PVG membership scheme as required.

You would be based on site the majortiy of the time and have to report to the Glasgow based office if required.

Requirements for the job:

You must have:

* Proficiency in the installation of CCTV Systems, Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, and Access Control systems.

* Ability to deliver a professional service and uphold the company's reputation for customer satisfaction.

* Proactive approach to client communication, ensuring concerns are addressed promptly or escalated to management as needed.

* Experience in servicing Fire, Intruder, CCTV, & Access Control systems.

* Timely completion of administrative tasks and maintenance of accurate records.

* Adherence to Company Policy & Health and Safety legislation at all times.

* Thorough understanding of relevant fire and intruder alarm Standards.

* Possession of a full clean UK Driving Licence.

* Familiarity with Paxton, Hikvision, and Net 2 systems.

* Advanced knowledge of fire alarm configuration
