Fire Alarm Engineer / Fire & Security Engineer
Location: West Midlands
Salary: Up to £40,000 basic

Travel paid, minus the first 30 minutes

£145 standby payment
*
Minimum of 2 hours paid at 1.5x hourly rate, plus £15 per call-out
*
25 days' annual leave
*
7.5% commission on first-time fixes, non-compliance quotations and battery changes
*
Additional earnings of approximately £5,000–£7,000 per year through commission
*
OTE of £47,000–£50,000

Our client is an established Fire & Security business based in the West Midlands, providing commercial and industrial fire safety and security solutions across the region and beyond. They take a customer-focused approach, with an emphasis on delivering compliant, reliable and cost-effective safety solutions, supported by fully trained and certified engineers. Role overview
*
Service, maintain and fault-find across fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
*
Carry out repairs and remedial works where required.
*
Complete commissioning work, depending on experience.
*
Security systems experience across CCTV, access control and intruder alarms would be beneficial, although this will make up a smaller part of the role.
*
Participate in a 1 in 10 week call-out rota.
