Description:
A leader of the provision of fire and security services is looking to add to experienced fire alarm engineers to their team. You will be working on mostly servicing and maintenance works to alarms and emergency lighting across your region within the South West of England. You will be based out of the Bristol area carrying out multiple jobs per day, typically working within an hours radius.
The successful candidate will have:
* FIA modules 1-5 fire
* Experience and knowledge on smoke control / AOV systems
* Good understanding of health & safety
* Full UK Driving Licence
* 2 years’ experience as a fire alarm service engineer
* Understand and be knowledgeable on BS5839
* FIA or BAFE trained of fire extinguishers to BS5306
Duties and responsibilities include:
* Receiving and recording works correctly
* Fire alarm servicing (PPM), maintenance, testing and inspection
* Reactive call outs to fault find, fix and repair
* Carrying out small installations and additional works to existing systems
* Being part of a team to complete out of hours call on a rota basis.
