Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Rate: £300 per day
Duration: 3 Months

The Role
Ridgeway & Co are currently recruiting for an experienced Finishing Manager to join a live care home project in Fleet for an initial 3-month contract.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing the finishing stages of the project through to completion and handover, ensuring works are delivered to the required quality standards and programme.
Previous care home experience is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities

Managing internal finishing works through to completion.
*
Coordinating and managing finishing trades and subcontractors.
*
Overseeing packages including drylining, decorating, flooring, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms and final finishes.
*
Managing snagging and ensuring defects are closed out efficiently.
*
Carrying out regular quality inspections.
*
Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
*
Driving subcontractors to achieve programme deadlines.
*
Coordinating with the Project Manager and wider site team.
*
Managing rooms and communal areas through final completion.
*
Ensuring high standards of health & safety are maintained.
*
Supporting final inspections, client sign-off and handover.
Requirements
*
Proven experience working as a Finishing Manager / Site Manager.
*
Previous care home project experience is essential.
*
Strong experience managing internal packages, finishing trades and snagging.
*
Excellent eye for detail and high-quality finishes.
*
Ability to drive subcontractors and work to tight deadlines.

Strong communication and organisational skills.
