Finishing Manager
* Main Contractor
* Residential Project
* Freelance: 6-8 weeks
* Rate: £220 - £250 per day CIS
We are currently searching for a Finishing Manager to join a busy 100-unit residential near Brighton. This project is in its finishing stages and requires extra management staff to ensure sure the plots are being closed as per the programme. Several plots are at 2nd fix stage, but the majority are at snagging stage therefore snagging will be the key focus in this role.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate finishing activities on construction sites.
* Ensure that all finishing work meets quality and safety standards.
* Inspect completed work to ensure it aligns with project specifications.
* Schedule and coordinate the delivery of finishing materials.
* Communicate with project managers and other team members to keep them updated on progress.
* Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
* Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during finishing work.
* Keep detailed records of finishing work, including materials used and labor hours.
* Ensure that finishing work is completed on time and within budget.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience Required:
* 3+ years finishing experience from a trade or management background
* Residential project experience is essential
* SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential
