Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Finishing Manager to join a live steel frame construction project for the next 3 weeks
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the finishing stages of the build, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate finishing trades and subcontractors on site.
*
Oversee internal and external finishing works through to completion.
*
Coordinate works around the steel frame structure and other site activities.
*
Monitor progress against the programme and ensure key deadlines are met.
*
Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure defects are identified and rectified.
*
Coordinate snagging, completion and handover activities.
*
Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, subcontractors and other site personnel.
*
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and health & safety requirements.
*
Maintain a high standard of site organisation and workmanship.
*
Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Finishing Manager / Finishing Foreman on construction projects.
*
Experience working on steel frame builds or similar projects.
*
SSSTS certification is essential.
*
Strong knowledge of finishing trades, snagging and handover procedures.
*
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate works effectively.
*
Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
*
Strong communication and organisational skills.

Relevant construction experience and references
