Description:
Our client, a leading developer, is seeking an experienced Freelance Finishing Manager to oversee a prestigious project. The scheme involves the demolition of an existing care home and associated buildings along with the residential unit. The primary focus will be on the construction of a new three-story plus basement (C2 use) care home, complete with associated parking and resident's gardens. Additionally, the project includes infrastructure works and access roads.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all finishing aspects of the project, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
Oversee the installation of fixtures, fittings, and interior finishes.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finishing Manager or similar role in residential/Commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of finishing trades, including carpentry, tiling, painting, and decorating.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management
