Finishing Manager - Construction Build
Location: Leeds
Duration: 4 months
RG Set Square are currently recruiting for an experienced Finishing Manager to join a construction project comprising both refurbishment and new build works.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-focused professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, on time and in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all finishing works across refurbishment and new build elements of the project.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trades and direct labour on site.
Carry out quality inspections and ensure all works meet specification and client standards.
Produce, manage and close out snagging lists using handheld devices and reporting software.
Take photographic records of defects, progress and completed works.
Monitor progress against programme and ensure deadlines are achieved.
Maintain excellent standards of Health & Safety across all site activities.
Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks where required.
Liaise closely with the Project Manager and Client team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Drive quality control and promote a "right first time" approach throughout the project.
Requirements:
Proven experience working as a Finishing Manager on construction build projects is essential for this role
Experience on both refurbishment and new build Construction Build schemes is highly desirable.
Excellent eye for detail and passion for delivering quality workmanship.
Competent using handheld devices, tablets and snagging/reporting software.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
Thorough understanding of construction Health & Safety requirements.
SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid qualification are essential for this opportunity
