Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a well-established national house builder on a new build residential development in Newport.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager, or Assistant Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a high-quality housing development, ensuring plots are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards ready for customer handover.

Key Duties
Manage all finishing trades across occupied and completed plots.
Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed in line with the programme.
Carry out quality inspections and maintain high finishing standards.
Manage snagging and de-snagging works through to final handover.
Liaise with the Site Manager, Customer Care team, and subcontractors to resolve outstanding issues.
Ensure plots are completed in accordance with NHBC standards and company quality expectations.
Monitor progress and report on plot completions.
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager, Assistant Site Manager, or Site Manager within new build housing developments.
Proven track record delivering high-quality plot finishes and customer handovers.
Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and residential quality requirements.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and prioritise workloads effectively.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid at Work certificate.
