Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a social housing organisation, based in Buckinghamshire, with their recruitment of a Financial Services Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a vast experience in leading a finance team and working closely with a financial reporting manager on the preparation of annual statutory accounts, returns to the regulator, funders and other statutory bodies.
What will you do in the role?
* Responsible for the day-to-day management of the financial services team, consisting of a team of 8 people.
* Ensure the groups cash flow management, creditor payments, rent accounting, general ledger and financial systems are all accurate.
* Oversee the development and maintenance of financial controls that are in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Develop performance policies and procedures to facilitate value for money and high standards of customer care within the financial services.
Who would excel in this role?
* A candidate who has managed a large financial team and has a proven track record of identifying and implementing business system process improvements.
* Someone who is a qualified accountant and has strong experience in tax compliance returns, reports and budgeting.
* A candidate with a proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with the wider finance team and others across the organisation.
