Description:

Financial Services Administrator

Norwich, Norfolk

£30,000 – £32,000 per annum

Full-time | Permanent | Office-based

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Atkinson Moss is working with an established financial services business in Norwich that is looking for an organised and detail-focused Administrator to join its team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous financial services experience who enjoys working with numbers, processing financial information and making sure everything is accurate and running smoothly.

You’ll be involved in a varied mix of financial administration and operations, including ISA administration, transfers, dividends, client accounts and reconciliations. You don’t need to have experience in every area, as the company is happy to support you in developing your knowledge and working towards your Level 3 CISI qualification.

What's on offer?

* £30,000–£32,000 per annum

* Annual discretionary bonus, typically around 8–10% depending on company performance

* 10% employer pension contribution, with a minimum employee contribution of 2.5%

* Private healthcare through Bupa

* Death in Service cover of four times your basic salary

* Spouse/Dependant’s Pension benefit

* Permanent Health Insurance, providing an income of up to two-thirds of basic salary, subject to policy terms

* Support towards professional development and your Level 3 CISI qualification

Working as part of the team, your responsibilities will include:

* Processing ISA subscriptions, dividends and transfers

* Managing client accounts, including closures, conversions and re-registrations

* Carrying out daily checks and reconciliations

* Supporting ISA10 reporting and preparing client valuation packs

* Calculating client fees

* Responding to client and regulatory requests

* Supporting Corporate Actions

* Providing cover and support across the wider team when needed

* Keeping up to date with relevant regulatory and market developments

What are we looking for?

You'll ideally have at least one year's experience in financial services, with some knowledge of investments, client assets, ISA administration or financial services operations.

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who is:

* Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail

* Comfortable working with numbers and financial information

* Analytical and methodical in your approach

* Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

* A confident communicator who enjoys working as part of a team

* Proactive, adaptable and keen to learn

You don't need to have done exactly the same role before. If you have a good foundation in financial services administration and are keen to build on your experience, this could be a great next step.

If you're looking for a new opportunity where you can build your financial services experience, develop your skills and work towards a professional qualification, I'd love to hear from you.

If you’re interested in applying or require more information, please contact Megan Reeve at Atkinson Moss. If you have an up-to-date CV please include it with your email.
