Description:

Search are delighted to be working with a high growth financial services business who are the look out for a talented financial reporting manager to join their team.

The purpose of this position is to oversee the accounting activities for a diverse portfolio of fund structures in collaboration with the Senior Financial Reporting Manager/Associate Director - Accounting.

Key responsibilities include:

Acting as the lead accountant for various fund structures within a team.
Reviewing all accounting aspects for a select portfolio of fund structures, including investor reports, statutory financial statements, and addressing ad-hoc investor queries.
Reviewing the bookkeeping for a variety of funds, management companies, and related structures.
Attending client board meetings and presenting quarterly financial information.
Supervising and contributing to the training and development of staff.
Organizing and overseeing the appraisal process for team members.
Managing and overseeing the resolution of audit queries.
Serving as an authority on day-to-day accounting queries and acting as a second pair of eyes on accounting matters to ensure adherence to company policies, professional standards, and regulatory guidelines, while delivering a high-quality service to clients and external contacts.
Reviewing the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns, and collaborating with foreign tax advisors.Skills, knowledge, and expertise required include:

Demonstrated relevant experience supported by a pertinent professional qualification (preferably ACCA or ACA).
Previous experience in Real Estate is mandatory.
Prior experience in personnel management.
Evidence of managing accounting responsibilities for client relationships or significant segments of major client relationships.
Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and business contacts.
Essential computer literacy, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
Sound technical knowledge in financial services, with support available through relevant training programs.On Offer:
