Description:
We are currently working with a leading Construction and Services company who are looking to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant to support during a busy period for 3-6 months.
This role would suit a technically strong Qualified Accountant with experience in a large busy finance function previously.
Key responsibilities include:
- Using expertise in technical accounting (revenue recognition, consolidations, purchase accounting and debt/equity)
- General tax compliance (VAT, CIS, PAYE etc)
- Subject matter expert on all technical accounting matters
- Responsible for production of all company and consolidation accounts
- Responsibility for corporation tax compliance, sales tax/VAT
- Responsibility for all other non-tax compliance reporting
- Responsibility for the company balance sheet
- Maintain appropriate accounting policies, making recommendations for changes to the Head of Financial Reporting
- Key contributor to all audit and tax related matters
- Monitor ongoing accounting updates and analyse/implement newly issued accounting updates into the As Is business processes.
