FINANCIAL PLANNER
Location: Moray, Scotland (Relocation package on offer)
Salary: Open, depending on experience
Working arrangements: Hybrid and flexible working available
Thistle Rose Recruitment is working with an established financial planning business in Moray that is building for the future.
They’re open to appointing an experienced Financial Planner who can take on an existing client portfolio, or someone earlier in their career who they can train and support as they develop.
You’ll join a local team with an established client base, experienced paraplanning and administration support, and the backing of a wider financial planning group.
THE ROLE
You’ll help clients plan for their future through advice on pensions, investments, protection and retirement planning.
Depending on your experience, you’ll either take on client relationships from the outset or work towards this with training and support.
The role will include:
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients
* Understanding their circumstances and financial goals
* Preparing and presenting financial planning recommendations
* Carrying out regular client reviews
* Working closely with paraplanning and administration colleagues
* Developing new business through referrals and professional relationships
ABOUT YOU
The business is open to different levels of experience. You could be an established Financial Planner looking for a new opportunity, or someone working in financial services who wants to progress into financial planning.
For an experienced appointment, you’ll ideally hold a Level 4 qualification in financial planning or equivalent, alongside Competent Adviser Status and a current Statement of Professional Standing.
For a development appointment, relevant financial services experience and a commitment to gaining the required qualifications will be important.
Above all, you’ll enjoy working with people, building trust and providing a personal service.
