Financial Controller - Milton Keynes
Hours: 35 hours per week
Remuneration:?Circa £53,000 per annum
Hybrid. Can be 3 days office, 2 days home or 5 days in office
An exciting new opportunity has arisen at this provider of specialist palliative care, for an experienced professional to lead the Finance team to ensure the ongoing effective management of financial resources within the charity and its trading subsidiary.
As part of the senior management team, you will build strong internal relationships, provide management information to enable sound financial decisions, manage the budgeting and forecasting process and oversee a complex payroll.
Working with the Director of Finance and IT you will prepare the monthly management accounts, VAT returns, Gift Aid reclaims and the statutory accounts and will ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place and all legislative and statutory requirements are met.
You will be a qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience; charity experience would be desirable. In addition, you will have strong demonstrable management skills gained in a similar complex environment.
An excellent working knowledge of payroll and VAT is essential, along with strong Microsoft Office skills.
