Description:
A fully qualified Financial Controller is required by a leading educational facility in for an all-encompassing role based in London.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Directors of Finance, the governors and senior management team to support the effective delivery of education . This position will have responsibility for the daily running of the finance function, monthly management accounts, financial analysis, audits amongst other duties.
Industry experience is not necessary for this position.
A salary of up to £60,000 is available depending on experience.
This is an office based position in Central London.
What you will be doing;
To be responsible for the general financial management of the organisation
Manage all finance and accounting operations
Monthly management accounts.
Cashflow forecasting
Coordinating and directing the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
Publish timely monthly financial forecasts.
The development of internal control policies and procedures
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
Support month end and year end close process.
What you need;
Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with creating financial statements.
Experience with general ledger functions and the month / year end close process.
CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
Salary:
Basic salary to £60k basic plus benefits
