Financial Controller - Take Control of the Financial Future

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic team in Whiteley. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation and financial health of my client
What you'll do:
Oversee monthly management reporting, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
Lead the preparation of year-end statutory financial statements.
Manage cash flow, keeping a close eye on transactions and maintaining accurate records.
Analyze and suggest improvements to the accounting and financial reporting systems.
Work alongside the Group Financial Controller to monitor performance standards and implement corrective measures when needed.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and legislation by reviewing the financial reporting systems.
Collaborate with auditors to guarantee adherence to all best practices.
Implement robust systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
Champion the smooth transition of the financial systems to a new platform.
Manage a small team.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
A recognized accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience. (For highly experienced candidates, QBE with 10+ years of relevant experience will be considered.)
Proven experience with annual audit procedures, statutory reporting and corporate tax knowledge is beneficial.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
This client can offer a competitive salary of up to £65,000.
