Working for this social value services group as Financial Controller you’ll supervise the maintenance of all transitional financial systems, whilst identifying aspects that can be improved and implementing any necessary changes you deem necessary. There will be particular focus on accounting, audit and record keeping as well as effective management of team members.
Salary – Up to £83,000 Per Annum
Location – Hounslow, London / Hybrid (2 days from home)
Role Type – Permanent / Full time / Mon-Fri / 37.5 hrs pw

The Role
You will oversee the Group Finance Shared Services Department, managing staff and ensuring the efficient operation of general accounting, internal policies, controls, and third-party processes. Daily workload will include handling banking transactions, credit card reconciliations, and supporting HR and Payroll with reporting, payments, and reconciliations. This role also involves managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, intercompany reconciliations, VAT returns, HMRC PAYE payments, Pension Fund contributions, and cashflow projections.
You’ll need to be an expert in financial systems – able to lead audits, oversee accurate period close results, prepare annual budgets, and monitor financial targets. The position gives you the autonomy to ensure internal controls are implemented, assist in risk management, maintain the Fixed Asset Register, contribute to efficiency projects, and develop financial accounting systems.
You’ll need
- Full ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent
- No less than 5 years’ experience in similar management roles involving line management of multiple staff
