Financial Controller - Royal Greenland
Royal Greenland is a seafood company based in Greenland that is wholly owned by the Government of Greenland. Royal Greenland is one of the world's largest vertically integrated suppliers of seafood, with a focus on species from the North Atlantic and Arctic Oceans such as Cold water Prawns, Greenland Halibut, Atlantic Cod, and Snowcrab.
The UK team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join them. As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts and related returns
*
Ensuring regulatory compliance for the import of food products
*
Manage company secretarial duties and office administration
*
Provide input on UK HR and office-based health and safety regulations
*
Interact closely with the Commercial function and customers
*
Direct the Accounts Assistant overseas
*
Collaborate with the UK team and colleagues overseas
Requirements
*
CIMA or ACCA qualified
*
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience
*
Experience in the SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) sector
*
Familiarity with products of animal origin (preferred)
*
Strong IT skills and proficiency in relevant software
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Able to travel to the Manchester office

Location
The role can be based either in the Manchester office or as a hybrid position. Hybrid working will require attendance at the Manchester office when necessary
