Description:
Our client, a leading company in the Mobility sector, is seeking a talented Financial Controller to join their team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial management of the organisation, ensuring the timely preparation of financial information, providing advice and leadership to the business, and maintaining robust financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial side of the month-end process and group accounts reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and variance analysis
Support and manage the transactional team in the preparation and review of financial forecasts
Ensure the financial management and oversight of the business, including key control implementation and compliance
Provide direction, supervision, and development of the finance team
Manage business tax requirements, including quarterly VAT submissions and annual tax computations
Oversee day-to-day cash management and payment review and approval
Coordinate and oversee the annual statutory audit and ensure compliance with UK accounting regulations
Ensure appropriate filings are made with Companies House and other government bodies
Key Requirements:
Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and knowledge of UK and international accounting regulations
Extensive experience in developing and delivering planning and reporting systems
A strong technical ability regarding processes and controls
Experience in performance management and mentoring of staff
Knowledge of SAP ERP
Consolidation experienceThis role is office based.
