Description:
Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to work for a great business based in Crawley, West Sussex. This is a fixed term contract FC job opportunity. The Financial Controller will be monitoring and managing the overheads, balance sheets, management accounts and preparation of IFRS and FRS101 compliant statutory accounts.
Salary: up to £75K
Duration: 9-10 month fixed term contract
Location: Office based, Crawley
Financial Controller duties:
Review and forecast group overheads
Review and reconcile balance sheet
Post prepayment, accrual and payroll journals
Maintain Asset register
Prepare trading sheets for commercial reviews and monthly forecasts
Monthly management accounts
Manage annual budget process
Managing the finance team
Maintain, create and improve system reporting
Preparation of tax calculations for review and statutory accounts - IFRS and FRS 101. Handling indirect tax queriesSkills and experience:
Proven Financial Controller level of experience working in a similar role
Ideally be fully qualified ACA / ACCA
