CMA Financial Recruitment is supporting a high growth technology business to recruit a proven Financial Controller, in a newly created role. The Financial Controller will be responsible for supporting the commercial growth and financial wellbeing of the organisation.
What will the role of Financial Controller involve?
Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
Performing inter-company reconciliations and eliminations, and ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial data across different entities and systems.
Leading and coordinating the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing all required information and documentation in a timely manner.
Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, based on accurate and reliable data analysis and reporting.
Preparing and reviewing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, and monitoring actual performance against targets.
Providing training and guidance to junior staff and other teams on accounting standards and principles.
What will you need to apply to be Financial Controller?
Full qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA essential.
At least 3 years experience in a rounded Financial Controller position.
Corporate or private equity experience desirable.
Proactive and solutions focused by nature.
