Description:
Areas currently covered by the Accounts Department, for which you are responsible are:
* Strategic financial planning including Acquisitions and Disposals, Corporation tax, Capital Allowances, funding, grants, foreign exchange opportunities, inter-company transactions, Fixed Asset investment and Payback calculations.
* Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss management.
* Budgeting, Forecasting and Cash Flows.
* Statutory Accounts and other statutory reporting, including VAT returns.
* Research & Development rebate scheme and other possible grant applications.
* Monthly Management Accounts and Variance analysis.
* Business efficiencies and continuous improvement.
* Sales ledger, including invoicing, VAT, Credit Control and Credit Management, Cash posting.
* Purchase ledger, including invoice, credit note and Supplier management, VAT, Payment control.
* Bank control including reconciliation of all accounts and Credit Card and Foreign Currency including currency gains and losses.
* Intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
* Monitoring and management of relationships between the Company and customers and suppliers
