Financial Controller

Location: Scarborough

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday (early finish on Friday’s)

We have an excellent opportunity for a financial controller to join our clients manufacturing company. You will be directly reporting to the managing director and managing a small finance team.

Main Duties:

* Monitoring financial performance against budget and KPI’s

* Preparing financial reports and statements

* Analysing financial data

* Working closely with the director to develop accurate forecasting

* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards and tax laws

* Lead the implementation and integration of a new ERP system

* Track budget performance throughout the year

* Monitor on key costs throughout the company

* Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial policies, procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks

Key Skills:

* ACA, ACCA, CIMA or part qualified

* Experience of using Sage 50 and other accounting software

* Experience in a manufacturing background would be beneficial

* Over 4 years’ experience in financial controller or Finance Manager
