Schedule: Full-time, with 1 day per week WFH after 3-month probation
Qualifications: ACCA or CIMA qualified
Experience: 3 years in a similar position, preferably with a background in construction
Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, with a focus on maintaining accurate WIP schedules and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate WIP schedules to track project costs and revenue recognition.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project costing and billing.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
- ACCA or CIMA qualification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar financial controller role.
- Experience in the construction industry is essential.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
