GALENT are recruiting for a permanent opportunity suitable for an experienced Senior Accountant or Financial Controller within the Public Sector, Charity or Not for Profit sector based in London, Cardiff, the Midlands or Leeds with 10% travel.
On top of your salary, our client will be offering a 6% pension and 30 days holiday a growing environment and long-term progression prospects. The charity and workforce are extremely passionate about the impact they have within society, including 40% of the workforce being sourced from beneficiaries of the charity. The position will suit an individual who enjoys working hard, thrives when given a challenge, and someone who can handle the pressure of multiple responsibilities, projects and decisions.
You will be stepping in to take over the day-to-day operations of the team and reducing the workload of the Finance Director. The position will be varied and requires somebody who is a confident leader, hands on and can hit the ground running with the ability to organise an inexperienced accounts payable and accounts receivable function.
They have a preference for a qualified accountant with public sector, charity or not-for-profit exposure together with staff management skills.
