UK Financial Analyst

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next interim opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a UK Financial Analyst to join a well-established global organisation based in Darlington on a temporary contract running until January 2027.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £20.45 per hour alongside a hybrid working arrangement, with approximately 2-3 days per week in the office.Working as part of a high-performing finance team, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis across the UK business.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete month-end activities to support the production of accurate monthly financial statements.
Prepare complex financial analysis and management reports to support decision-making.
Partner with operational teams and budget holders to develop annual budgets, expense forecasts and staffing projections.
Produce financial performance reports, including variance analysis, cost analysis and statistical reporting.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
Assist with ad hoc financial projects and business analysis as required.About You:

Previous experience in a Financial Analyst, Management Accountant, Finance Analyst or similar role.
Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
Confident working with budgets, forecasts and month-end processes.
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.What's on Offer:
