Financial Advisor

Position Type: Full-time – Employed

Job Summary:

Our client is a national Wealth Management Group and is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Financial Advisor in our Glasgow branch. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shadow an experienced incumbent for a few months and subsequently take over their responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Advisory Services:

* Provide financial advice and recommendations to clients based on their individual goals, financial situations, and risk tolerance.

* Assist in the development and implementation of personalized financial plans, including investment strategies, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.

* Conduct financial analysis and research to identify suitable investment opportunities and products.

* Regularly review and monitor clients' investment portfolios, making adjustments to align with their objectives and market conditions.

2. Client Relationship Management:

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients based on trust, integrity, and professionalism.

* Proactively address client inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

* Actively engage in networking activities and client prospecting to expand the client base.

3. Compliance and Regulation:

* Adhere to industry regulations, compliance policies, and ethical standards.

* Maintain proper documentation and records of client interactions, financial plans, and compliance-related activities.

* Stay up-to-date with financial industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting

* Advanced Diploma / Chartered or Diploma Qualified and working towards the Advanced Diploma /Chartered

* Previous experience in financial planning, investments required, or an experienced paraplanner looking to move into a Financial Advisor role.

* Strong knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and financial planning strategies.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.

* High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
