My Telford based client is currently recruiting for a financial accountant/ controller on a permanent basis.
Salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
Pension – Auto-enrolment

Responsibilities for financial accountant/ c
* Managing transactional team and overseeing/reviewing sales ledger, purchase ledger, stock, cash, Bank and GL entries.
* Take responsibility for ensuring that the financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively
* Responsibility for maintaining statutory records for the business
* Company Taxation management (VAT; Corporation tax, Plastic; Waste; Customs & Excise, Class 1a; R&D; CCL)
* Fixed asset & Capital Allowances
* Treasury management. Liaison with Banks, forecasting & MI data submission.
* Budgeting & forecasting (Cashflow, Balance sheet
* Liaise and preparing audited accounts
* Project management of process changes and implementations
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Other adhoc duties including reception & departmental cover
Skills and experience for financial accountant/ c
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
* GL and Balance sheet reconciliations
* Financial controls and risk management
* Advanced Excel skills
* Project management
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
