Description:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join an established group accounting function, responsible for accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting, while assisting with and driving process improvements.
Duties include:
* Financial Accounting and control for fixed and variable cost centre reporting as well as managing underlying transactional processes where relevant
* Support with preparation of annual management plan and forecasts
* Provide financial reports and support business functions
* Financial accounting and month end closure
* Financial accounting and control of head office cost recharges
* Support with monthly group reporting and preparation of annual statutory accounts
Required Qualifications and Aptitudes:
* Qualified (or finalist) ACCA, ACA, or CIMA
* Experience in a similar role is essential possessing relevant accounting experience covering financial accounting, VAT, and tax within a UK organisation
* Experience with management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
* Good analysis skills, able to interpret data and then communicate findings accordingly
* Able to establish and develop relationships at all levels within the organisation

* Attention to detail and able to prioritise changing demands
* Strong Excel skills
