FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
LANCASTER
UP TO £50,000 + BENEFITS

Simpson Judge are partnered with a leading hospitality brand in Lancaster. They're looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join a busy Finance team of 12, supporting the Financial Controller and taking ownership of the statutory accounts.
The Financial Accountant whilst reporting into the Financial Controller will mentor and work alongside the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assisting with the account's preparation for the business, preparing and maintaining accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Liaising with the auditors, ensuring a good working relationship and assisting with any queries or issues.
* Preparing the statutory accounts and supporting documents as well as performing analytical reviews.
* VAT & Tax Returns
* Financial Analysis and Reporting
* Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and long-term financial forecasts.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT REQUIREMENTS
* The successful candidate will ideally be qualified or studying towards an ACA or ACCA qualification.
* Intermediate Excel
* Sage Line 50
For this the Financial Accountant will receive a competitive salary of up to £50,000 + excellent benefits, including hybrid working
