DK Recruitment are partnering with a dynamic organisation, based in Plymouth, in their hiring of a new Financial Accountant. Responsibilities:
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register ensuring accuracy of records
* Oversee bank control and recording, including reconciliation and reporting
* Support month-end financial accounts control routines and reconciliations
* Aid in preparation of statutory accounts for the parent company and subsidiaries
* Liaise with External Auditors for audit requirements, particularly related to Fixed Assets
* Train team members on processes and procedures as needed
* Contribute to service improvement projects and initiatives
* Provide cover for team members as required
About You
* CIMA/ACCA/ACA part-qualified or AAT qualified with relevant experience
* Substantial experience in accountancy environment including preparation of statutory accounts and control accounts
* Proficiency in computerised financial management systems
* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines
* Willingness to undertake training and development opportunities
