An established international business in Weybridge is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team. Your new role
This newly created position offers a broad range of responsibilities across group reporting, technical accounting, tax and finance projects.
Key duties will include:
Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting.
Assisting with group budgeting and forecasting processes.
Supporting the implementation of new accounting standards and technical accounting projects.
Preparing accounting papers and supporting compliance with UK accounting requirements.
Assisting with corporation tax, tax reporting and compliance activities.
Working closely with external auditors and professional advisers.
Supporting finance systems development and reporting improvements.
Building strong relationships with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the business.This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking for a role that combines technical accounting, projects and business partnering within a supportive team environment.
What you'll need to succeed
ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with a background in Audit (ideally from a chartered accountants).
Experience within financial accounting, group reporting or audit.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and inquisitive approach.
Exposure to projects would be beneficial.
Locally based to Weybridge, Surrey.
