Description:
Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a Global business, based in Basingstoke, in their search for an Accountant on a 6 month contract basis.
Key Objectives are as follows:
• Maintain all financial controls and systems within your role recommending potential
operational efficiencies and improvements to working practices and procedures
• Preparation/approval of monthly journals working closely with key business partners for
the appropriate level of support
• Accurate and timely month end reporting in line with timetable across
international legal entities
• Preparation of month-end analysis and commentary for management reporting
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations to support reviews
• Intercompany accounting and reconciliations, including an overview of group recharges
and settlements in line with transfer pricing agreements
• Maintain financial controls in accordance with group policies and procedures
• Support the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly flash reports in line with the
centralised reporting strategy
Key Skills/Experience:
• Part or fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA/Qualified-by-Experience with 3 years + experience within finance role
• Experience of month end close process
• Worked as a contractor previously
Salary - £45-50,000 p/a
Hybrid working - 3 days/week in the office
