Financial Accountant/Controller
Telford - Onsite
Salary up to £55,000 pa plus package
Are you ready to take the lead in financial management within the food manufacturing sector? Henderson Brown, in partnership with an industry leader, invites you to join a dynamic team as a Financial Accountant.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
* Undertake all aspects of financial management, ensuring efficient financial processes, systems, and controls.
* Oversee financial ledgers, fixed assets, stock, and cash flow reporting within the food manufacturing environment.
* Prepare statutory, management, regulatory, and government reports tailored to the industry's standards.
* Drive strategic financial decisions through budgeting and forecast preparation.
* Manage audits and liaise with auditors to uphold industry regulations and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA or desirable experience
* Proven experience in financial management and accounting within the food manufacturing sector.
* Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and controls specific to the industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with industry stakeholders.
* Ability to lead and manage a transactional team within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in treasury management and forecasting within the food manufacturing context.
* Experience in project management for process changes and implementations within the industry.
* Sound knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations tailored to food manufacturing operations.
