Financial Accountant
12 Month Contract
£26.41 per hour (£51,500 per annum)
Here at Peopleforce Recruitment, we are seeking a dynamic and detail orientated Financial Accountant to join our client, a global leader within the medical device world. As a Financial Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the team across various financial functions.
The role would be on an initial 12 month contract, working 5 days per week at the company's Maidenhead site.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Providing support in VAT returns, intrastat reporting and responding to VAT enquiries
* Helping with Month End Close and Year End Close tasks and liaising with contacts where required
* Preparation and filing of Corporation tax returns and assisting with Corporation tax enquiries
* Preparation and filing of Statutory Financial Statements and dealing with associated external audit requests
* Assist in other tasks and activities as defined by the Finance Director
Key Requirements:
* Qualified accountant – ACA or ACCA
* Confident using Microsoft Excel
* Driving licence
* Previous use of SAP would be a plus
* Solid understanding of Corporation Tax, Statutory Accounting and VAT
* Good communication skills – able to report back on technical accounting and taxation issues to a range of people
* Audit experience would be preferrable
