Dundee & Angus based
£50,000 - £55,000 (Negotiable DOE)

Nicholas Hendry is currently working with a local employer of choice in the Dundee & Angus area, who are experiencing significant growth within their business and as a result the business now has a vacancy for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join their busy team as they continue to grow.
This is a pivotal role for the organisation & the successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct support to the Financial Controller & Head of Finance, where the successful candidate will be responsible not only for producing monthly Financial Accounts and monthly reporting but will also be tasked with looking at process & systems improvement across the finance function.
Responsibilities
This is a position that would best suit an experienced Qualified Accountant either making their first move out of practice, or perhaps someone with previous experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial or FMCG environments.
Ideally, you will have prior working knowledge of:
* Producing Financial Accounts
* Finance Business Partnering, working with non-finance staff to assist with Budgets & Forecasting
* Budgets, Forecasting & Reporting.
* Balance sheet reconciliation & analysis
* Assisting Senior Management with Ad-hoc reports/projects.
Qualifications
* Qualified Accountant
* Previous experience in a busy and deadline driven environment
* Previous experience in a financial accounting role
* Competent IT user, experience with ERP financial software & Proficient with Microsoft Excel
