RM Recruit Ltd is working in partnership with our Shropshire based client to recruit a Transformation Project Accountant for a period of circa 6 months with an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced financial professionals who possess extensive project and transformation experience to spearhead a wide number of projects that are business critical to our client.
Main duties include:
* Supporting an important phase supporting the Change Director to support organisational change
* Working in collaboration with change leads
* Understanding cost drivers, income streams and resource requirements regarding the current position and looking at forecasts to improve efficiency
* Business partner with wider stakeholders and leadership teams to ensure project cost information is accurate
* Reviewing current model and confidently forecasting for the transition to future model
* Leading the planning aspect of various workstreams
* Reviewing capital spend, supply chain and distribution, data and systems and income
* Working in collaboration with teams in developing new models
* Apply suitable and appropriate assumptions to modelling and cost analysis in the absence of detailed data and evidence, to arrive at realistic indications of cost / benefits
* Deliver analysis and detailed commentary to report key issues, risks, options and recommendations for discussion
* Significant modelling and analysis and creating new processes, models, metrics and KPIs.
As the ideal candidate, you will possess experience of significant transition or change in a project or programme management and an understanding of current state and then ability to forecast requirements for the transition to future state is essential. Travel to the office is limited to once per week, in some cases once every fortnight.
