Description:
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Finance Team Leader to join Conwy Council’s Social Care Finance Team on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.
Key Duties:
* Providing support to the Service Management Team and Budget Holders on financial matters including budgets, technical issues and management reporting
* Provide a range of financial services including the procurement and payment of services and goods purchased external to the local authority
* Updating manual and computerised record systems
* Processing data held on the finance sections and interface systems for journal preparation
* Managing the finance assistants to ensure work is completed accurately
* Raising external invoices and internal recharges
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working as a Finance/Accounts Supervisor/Team Leader
* Strong organisation, planning, analytical and problem solving skills
* Attention to accuracy and detail with the ability to produce high quality outputs
Location – Coed Pella, Hybrid
