Finance & Reporting Analyst - £33,639.84 + Benefits - Southeast London /Hybrid-working

Do you have strong finance, reporting and administration skills? Are you confident working with housing benefit, service charges and accurate financial data?

The role

Quo Vadis Trust is looking for an efficient Finance & Reporting Analyst to join their Finance Team.

This is a full-time, fixed term contract until 30th March 2027, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Some flexibility on hours may be available.

You will deliver a combined finance, reporting and tenancy administration function. This will include managing housing benefit and service charge processes, maintaining accurate records and providing clear reports to support decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Post daily bank transactions in Sage
Allocate customer receipts and supplier payments accurately
Process supplier invoices and maintain audit records
Manage Housing Benefit and Service Charge processing
Reconcile payments from councils, clients and care homes
Monitor arrears and resolve payment discrepancies
Support monthly reconciliations, accounts, cash flow forecasts and budget monitoring
Produce weekly occupancy and void reports
Prepare monthly service charge, arrears and debtors’ reports
Analyse Housing Benefit delays, council discrepancies and payment trends
Prepare client agreements, authorisations, direct debits, checklists and consent forms
Manage client onboarding, transfers and changes in circumstances
Submit and track Housing Benefit applications, dual claims and adjustments
Complete Supporting Exempt Accommodation forms and maintain audit trails
Support payroll processing by consolidating weekly payroll sheets

The person

You will need strong administration skills, excellent accuracy and the ability to manage deadlines.

You will also need:

Numeracy and literacy to GCSE level or equivalent
Knowledge of supported housing and benefits services
Understanding of supported housing
Experience using computerised accounting systems
Good Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience in a housing association dealing with tenancies would be desirable. A relevant housing-related qualification would also be helpful.
